Human Activity and Climate Change
ClimateClimate Change (Global Warming): is a  process by which the Earths' atmosphere is changing over a period of time. Some of the causes are; to the build up of green house gases, the Earths orbit, variations in solar activity, plate tectonics, volcanoes, deforestation and lastly human activity.
Climate  is
the prevailing weather conditions (winds, temperature, air pressure, humidity, rain, sunshine, and cloudiness) of a region or the earth over a long period of time i.e. decades, centuries and longer periods of time. Weather on the other hand is the condition of a region or Earth over a short period of time such as days or weeks.
Often people question their role in climate change given the immense environmental factors. But we do affect the climate, not so much as individuals but as a collective. Billions of people all doing the same negative or positive behavior can have a dramatic impact on the environment, for example in the United States the average  American drives in one year over 10,000 miles and releases as a group over 5.5 tons of Carbon Monoxide into the atmosphere. Thinking in a global view imagine how much CO2 is being release from all the cars on the planet. Working together we can not stop the natural changes that are causing some of the global warming trends but we can slow down and mitigate the effects we have on the environment. In a recent Federal Government Report they stated that Climate Change is having a profound effect on our country and planet today.
