"Insurance is a means of protection from financial loss in which, in exchange for a fee, a party agrees to compensate another party in the event of a certain loss, damage, or injury. It is a form of risk management, primarily used to protect against the risk of a contingent or uncertain loss." Source Wikipedia

All types of insurance be it health, car, home, life dental, personal, disability, vision, hospital indemnity, critical illness, cancer, accident, legal, pet, homeowners, renters, long-term care, travel, or umbrella are created to provide a means of preventing drastic loss of money, protecting life, pain suffering.. Lately the policies being offered whether it be governmental, corporate or personal, have become extremely expensive, limiting and also vague in their coverage. All governments and business alike, have increased the cost of coverage and cut back on price supports, mandatory coverage requirements and increased the limits of who, what and how the insurance will be administered. The insurance companies themselves have denied and limited once offered coverage's, increased the costs of the insurance, streamlined customer service (so talking to someone is almost impossible), and are now are using artificial intelligence to make decisions once made by doctors and other professionals. Consequently claims are being stalled or denied, work to correct the claims are being put on hold, people are in great deal of frustration, pain and suffering with death now more common than before. On one note, why does health insurance not cover dental and optical? Is the mouth and eyes not part of the human body? When I asked this question as benefit administrator I was told that is the way it has always been and they did not want to change it!!!
