Pollution
Pollution is the other crisis, next to Climate Change, that is facing the future of our planet. We are rapidly expanding the increase of pollutants to our air, land and waterLight degradation, noise levels, oil spills, pesticides, herbicides, plastics, radioactivity and thermal levels are the many types of pollution.  As the Earth's population grows and people demand more and more of our resources from industry and agriculture, we are finding it harder and harder to deal with the goods and food production, and the disposal of growing amount of waste.
The landfills are rapidly filling, the oceans and waterways have become a dumping ground for just about everything, the skies are growing dimmer and more hazardous as we pour particulates and chemicals into the environment. Diseases have increased. Habitats are disappearing. Water supplies are becoming hazardous, with chemicals, waste and evasive plants and animals. Like Climate Change we are at a nexus of whether we will have a clean habitable planet or one that is hazardous to our health and safety.
Solutions are available. What we have to do is apply the financial, material and personal resources to prevent further degrading and prevent any new sources of pollution. Again we have to make hard choices or face a grim future. We have to make these choices for ourselves and our children and their children. Money and political will should not be a factor. It is imperative that we tackle and defeat the twin crisis of pollution and climate change,
