College Parents
So now you have spent 12
years preparing your son or daughter for the
rest of his or her life. They will be asked,
while in a college or university, to make choices which will
determine how their lives will develop into the future. Here are some sites, pages and tips
you might use to help them make the right decisions.
Tips and AdviceYou have spent years
developing a strong, resourceful,
responsible and healthy individual and now
he or she will be on his way to college.
Here are some advice to help your new roll.
1.Encourage them to do their best and praise their
accomplishments.
2.Let him or her go and give them space, so that
they can further develop their independent
intellectual, emotional and psychological
foundations.
3. Be aware that he or she will make mistakes, be
there when they make their mistakes (under no circumstances
should you solve their mistakes for them). Listen to them
and give them advice.
