An estimate 10 quintillion (10,000,000,000,000,000,000) bugs
inhabit the Earth*. They live on all the continents, islands and
oceans. They range from the
Phrygantistria Chinensis and
the smallest
Sicopomorpha Echmepterygis. Today many of the Earth's insects face
extinction as our climate changes
and humans use herbicides, insecticides and destroy their natural habitats. |
