Separation

religious and political practice that
the government should not impose it's
power on religious groups and that the
church should not impose its beliefs,
dogmas and traditions on the state and
its people. This expressed in the 1st
Amendment to the US Constitution:"Congress
shall make no law respecting the
establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise therof."
