History ebbs and flows over millions of years. There
are crucial period of our development have occurred
which changed our direction from hunter gathers to
farmers, farmers to factories and commercial
endeavors and today we face a new period in which we
are facing a new challenge that of a computer,
digital or information age. In each age we saw
changes in our ways of making a living, society,
religion, governance and culture. Alvin Toffler in
his ground breaking book The
Third Wave outlines this course of human
development. I suggest you get a copy either at the
