The modern world
has many new and more expansive ways
of informing and influencing the
general public, in what is being
called the
Information Age.
Social Media has become the primary method of
expressing lies,
conspiracy theories,
misinformation, disinformation and
fake
news.
Laws policies and regulations
are being enacted by politicians and
as a result. companies, individuals,
organizations are being indicted,
restricted, punished and harassed by
governments, individuals, and
organizations. Individuals in the
general public, government and
business shy away from expressing
their opinions, enacting laws, and
changing corporate policies in fear
of being the target of those who
express the lies being generated. We
as individuals must view the
misinformation, disinformation, lies
and conspiracy theories for what
they are worth garbage! Governments
need to enact laws punishing those
who perpetrate this public
discourse. Never accept what is
being written or said as true. and
investigate their background and
what is being said.
"At any given moment, public
opinion is a chaos of superstition,
misinformation and prejudice" Gore
