A
light meter is used to measure the amount of light
needed to determining the correct exposure of an
image. Today they have a built in computer that
either digitally or analogically advise the
photographer to determine the proper shutter speed
and f-stop. They come in two forms either built into
the camera or as a hand held device. The
photographer will use this device mainly as a
supportive tool. His knowledge of the camera and
experience should always determine the use. Check
