Blog Communication
"At its most basic level, communication predates human language by millions of years. Long before words, grammar, or writing, living creatures were exchanging signals to stay alive. According to Encyclopedia Britannica, animal communication is the process by which one animal provides information that others can use to make decisions affecting their survival and well-being. This is not a social nicety – it is a life-or-death mechanism."Source Journalism University

David Kennedy Opinion
Communication exists even among the animals that inhabit our planet and since our earliest  existence has always been a vital part of our a personal, tribal, cultural, national and international ways of talking, expressing our opinions (and disagreements), theories, ideas, discoveries and basic survival. It has taken many forms such body language, verbal, hand signs, as well as written signals. Non verbal communications have had great impact on our military, theories, opinions, actions, thoughts and feelings. Wars, personal arguments, confrontations and relationships have been affected because of what a person says (or not says) or a particular look. Think of the many wars (both civil and international), religious persecutions, political upheavals, civil confrontations, social breakups and personal confrontations that have plagued our planet because of what was said or not said in our history. Political communications can and will effect military operations, international relationships, social discourse, economic and, other political movements.
As a teacher, photographer, union official and corporate official my communications or lack of communication often had both a negative and positive affect. My suggestion we must improve our human contact with our fellow humans. Put down the cell, move away from the computer and talk to one another. Restore the human element back in our corporations, stores, news agencies, answering machines, customer service, computer systems and even the cell phones. People need to start communication to each other directly. Also don't always accept what is said and research the topic. Trust but verify to quote Reagan.
"To effectively communicate, we must realize that we are all different in the way we perceive the world and use this understanding as a guide to our communication with others." — Anthony Robbins
Carol Burnett is attributed with saying, "Words, once they are printed, have a life of their own". The quote suggests that once ideas are published or spoken, they take on their own meaning and impact beyond the original intent of the speaker.
