Blog Spousal Domestic Abuse
“Intimate partner abuse” is a term used to describe
different kinds of abusive behaviors that can happen in intimate
relationships (such as between people dating or married). However,
not all abusive behaviors in intimate relationships can be charged
under criminal law. For example, intimate partner abuse may include
emotional abuse. While there are not criminal laws for emotional
abuse, there may be civil legal options for emotional abuse. "

There is a growing amount of domestic
abuse world wide. It involve both men and
women abusing other partners such as women
abusing women abusing men and men abusing
other men. In many cases it is sexual,
financial, stalking, technological,
psychological, emotional and unfortunately
can result in the death of the partner.
The purpose of the abuse vary from trying to
get the partner to perform an actor or acts,
teaching them a lesson or to stop a practice
the abuser feels is inappropriate. Often the
abuser is carrying out retribution for acts
committed on him or her. Men and women must
be careful in establishing a positional
relationship and try to understand the
nature of the perspectivepartner If you witness or are aware
that an abuse situation is prevalent, the
the phrase "See
Something Say Something" must come
into play, since by your silence you as an
individual are part of the abuse.
