If we ignore the growing
importance of AI and its tremendous
potential for both good or evil we
will face the very real possibility of it
controlling us and destroying humanity..
Laws, policies and change of mindset must
start now! This is not to say we should
eliminate AI but we must control it not let
it control us.
Social media has become the
dominate source of communication,
information and the development of public
opinion. We as individuals must recognize
when the information, misinformation and
outright lies are being fed to us and when
an issue or idea catches ones attention
don't accept it as fact and research it to
determine its authenticity! Children
must never be allowed to have computers,
smart phone and pad dominate their lives.
they must be encouraged live, enjoy life
outside the electronic devices!
Politicians must understand they
have been chosen for office not as a
representative of a corporation, special
interest or individual but as someone who
will solve what ails the nation and planet,
for in their hands lie the potential to do
both good and evil
Economics is vital to our health
both physically and socially. Humans rely on
food, employment and safety to satisfy our
needs. It should not be controlled by
individuals, corporations or political
special interest groups but by what is best
for society. Monopolies price fixing and
gouging only hurts the general public and
society at large.
Look around and one can see the
rapid deterioration of the environment. From
experts in the field and organizations that
monitor the Earth is getting warmer, the air
and water is getting more polluted,
wildfires are becoming more common, glaciers
are melting, oceans are rising, more animal
are becoming extinct, meanwhile diseases
(plagues) are more prevalent. Wake up and
smell the roses (before they disappear).
Climate change is not a hoax, it is very
real and becoming more dangerous by each
passing day.
Wars and their aftermath have
always been a human but today it is leading
to planetary economic disruption and the
very real catastrophe of nuclear
annihilation. We can either peacefully solve
our issues of face more death and
destruction.
Today we see nations being ruled
by individuals whose only goal is enrich
themselves and to rule by decry and the
power of government. We as individual must
maintain Democracy and not allow others to
influence our choices,
We must always remember that
Lincoln said our nation was created BY THE
PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE. and Ben Franklin
When asked about if our nation is a
republic said "A REPUBLIC, IF YOU CAN
KEEP IT"
