As  time goes, by safety has become more and more a fact of life Hazards can come from weather related disasters, mass shootings, crime, corruptions, wars, family abuse, political disruptions, panic from news reports, poverty, homelessness, hunger or many other tragedies. Business failures can result from such things as machinery without proper guarding, electrical issues such as frayed cords or faulty wiring, exposure to chemicals and ergonomic strains to name a few, and should be of corporate concern. In homes improper methods of cooking, lack of proper housekeeping childcare, and  grounds keeping often cause safety hazzards. In schools and hospitals the lack of proper staff training, custodial care and the storage of chemicals and equipment can result in injury and sometimes death.
When we as citizens are maintaining or designing government buildings, businesses, stores, homes, schools and hospitals we must set and maintain standards to prevent injury, sickness and even death. This should be one of the highest priorities by those who are responsible.for Insurance rates lives and injury that are at stake for everyone including children. Keep in mind the personal and business that are at stake if safety is not in the calculation.  again If you see something say something!
